Thabang Nyeoe, who recently lost the battle for the control of Basotho National Party (BNP) in the High Court against General Metsing Lekhanya, has broken away to form the Basotho Democratic National Party (BDNP) - reports Public Eye of 01/12/2006
I have received an invitation to have a look at the BDNP blog. I suggest that you also spend some time and visit this blog to learn more about the party. At the moment there is little information about them for me to say anything, maybe you do. It looks like they are open to questions, input and critisism. I have already posted the following message on their blog.
"Like, I have indicated earlier, welcome to the blogosphere.
In terms of the content of your blog, i would like to suggest the following:
- that you articulate, at a high level, at least 5 principles which BDNP hopes to abide by.
- that you add photographs of the entire executive
- indicate why you have left the BNP, perhaps also in relation to the principles you believe in as a party. How are these principles different to those of the BNP?
I do appreciate that you hope to have a website up soon. Good. But give a definite time frame please. For me this will be a small but important test in terms of delivering on promises. When the website is up, please do not fall in the trap of not continuously updating it. Also make sure that it is well maintained.
Finally, note that I will also add the BDNP blog to the Lesotho Forum (http://lesothoforum.blogspot.com) blog as a link."
ITF, I hope that the BDNP will respond to our questions.
