Rightly or wrongly, the presence of BDF in Lesotho could also be interpreted in the following ways: (1) as a show of force on the part of government (2)and an effort to intimidate political opponents during the run up to the elections.
One just hopes that this is a normal army operational activity which is devoid of any political undertones and influences.
